It’s been over THREE weeks since my last update, and I’m terribly sorry about this. Some real-life stuff, such as switching the site from one hosting service to another, have taken up some of my time. I’m wondering if this has to do with the weird behavior of my phone, a while back, or the mysterious (and apparently enchanted) DVDs I received. Guess someone has it in for me, right?
Well, buster, I’m not quitting.
And you might think I’d want to blame this on the usual faerie mischief, but hacking just isn’t in my faerie’s repertoire, unless she’s discovered some kind of new trick and hasn’t bragged about it (yeah, sure!).
Anyway, in the midst of all this, I also had to plan some vacations, which I’m now taking (with Mandy). In Peru, no less. I’m about to leave to do a trek to Machu Picchu, so I’m going to keep this short.
And with any luck, I won’t run into any faeries over there. And with Brooke apprently busy with Meghan here, there should be no shenanigans with Mandy. It’s just she and I, against the high mountains of Peru.
Wish me luck!

Hey there! Wish you the best of times over there in my homeland!
Just be sure to wait a while before getting into any action there since the altitude can be a problem if you wanna do some “exercise”, lack of oxygen in the air and all.

Your faery? Your faery???
Remember what happened the last time you used that adjective?
(Lurker settles down comfortably and prepares to watch the fun)

Peru has an interesting history that you should be aware of.
The Chavin religion, for example, involved shamanistic transformations and shape shifting.
Now, we are talking about a civilization that existed from about 900 to 200 BCE, so you should probably be OK as long as you don’t mishandle any artifacts or disturb ancient religious sites.
Still, take extra care…

hmmm…. to be honest, i feel sorry about your tech troubles and its true, maybe your fairy hasn’t cotten on to the whole internet and computers thing.
Maybe its a techno-gnome… or a techgnome for short 😉 i’ve been having problems of late with one myself. They’re quite mischeivious, but put a couple of twinkies in a bear trap and you’ll be rid of them in no time 😉
also, machu pichu? this is just asking for trouble. Lets hope you don’t have a south american fairy hop along on your trip. Or for that matter, a regular old american fairy of who’s name shall remain nameless…
