In less than a week, Bloomin’ Faeries! will be celebrating it’s SECOND ANNIVERSARY!!!
To celebrate, I’m offering anyone the chance of becoming an official Bloomin’ Faeries! character. Said character will be featured in a small story arc of six (not necessarily sequential) strips.
To participate and have a chance of winning, you need to make a bid in the comments section of this post.
The bids need to be done using Bloomin’ Coins!
Bidding just needs to be a comment like this one:
“I, <username>, bid 5 coins.” (Replace <username> by your actual username, the one you use to register.)
The person with the HIGHEST BID on April 10, at 11:59PM Pacific Time, will get the prize.
Let the bidding commence!

Darn. No love for the members? (Now does _that_ sound dirty to anyone else?)
Jaycee
No, don’t worry, there’s going to be some love for you guys as well!!!

Question #1:
Does the lucky winner gets consulted on how his or her character will be (ab)used?
I don’t presume to speak for anyone, but personally, I wouldn’t want to feature in a situation that I consider to be a turn-off.
Question #2:
Are re-bids allowed (like in an auction house) or is it one bid per person?
Peace,
Lurker.

No answer yet and it’s way past my bed time in this time zone.
I’ll just have to trust you guys to be reasonable.
I also see that there are no bids yet. So, to restore Jaycee’s faith in his audience, I’ll start the bidding process.
I, Lurker, being of sound mind and body, hereby bid a devil’s dozen (13) coins on the dubious pleasure of having Jaycee and Wondollar trash the tattered remains of my online dignity in their ungodly abomination of a webcomic.
I bid you good night.
Peace,
Lurker.

Did I start too high and scared off the other potential bidders?
Sorry…
Peace,
Lurker.

Dunno, t’was a good bid. As the only bidder, that makes you the winner as well.
As to your question, I wasn’t planning a lot of back-and-forth with the contest winner. It’d probably be simpler to point out (by email) some of your turn-ons and turn-offs, and Wondollar & I will work with that.

That works for me.
I’ll send you an email.
