Interesting reactions here which I’m blaming on hormones/the rush from a recent climax. She’s not into men, clearly, but ‘stick your manhood between my legs while you feel my chest’ sets up some expectations that you can’t cash in. So can’t blame her partner in that scenario for assuming she was into dudes, all things considered. But she doesn’t *want* to be with him, so hearing him react with disgust and storm off seems like it might have been a good thing as it could lead to the end of the engagement.
But, perhaps, what they did felt so good that she was willing to work with him to explore a bit more? Have a physical relationship to some extent, so she felt betrayed when he stormed off.
Interesting and sound analysis. You’re points are largely valid. I’d add that no one likes being told they’re disgusting, especially during/after a sexual encounter. She was naked and vulnerable, and even if she didn’t want to get engag to Aidan, she absolutely didn’t expect to be called disgusting. Add that to some self-loathing and body image issues, and you’ve got a pretty emotional distressed Alberta.

Maybe she should get it on with Heather. Keep it in the family, eh?

Minus the effect the situation is obviously having on Aidan in Heather’s body, he seems to be coming off as a really great guy at this point.
