Quite. From the latin vir meaning “man”, as in male (as opposed to homo meaning “man” as in human being). The female equivalent would be a “potion of muliebrity”, which would have the additional magical effect of sending just about all the readers scampering for a dictionary.

Sorry I’m not Catholic or a Doctor. So to me Virility just means life or good health.
So a potion of Virility would be one that gives/improves health.

Maybe you were thinking Potion of Vitality?

… You are aware that it is possible to be fluent in Latin without being Catholic, right? Why, you can just be a scholar of ancient languages, or have taken classes in high school, or just bought a Latin to English dictionary… <_<

Doesn’t matter what religion you are or if you know latin. A word means what it means and doesn’t get redefined cause you didn’t know what it meant and refuse to let go.

Caption of Evil!!!!!
da Doctah
While it’s certainly possible I’ve just overlooked it, this may in fact be the only current webcomic that has a caption as an actual character.
Biri
Well, Evil Inc. used to have a sentient office memo, which was kind of like a caption, though I’m not sure what’s up with him(?) these days.

‘Helpful’, my boot. What is that thing? And now what’s going to happen to that stupid little boy?
Hornet
He’s going to revitialize the maid???
But think I would have waited for the caption to list the Youth potion.
Gallstone
I don’t think so. ‘Virility’ often refers to male sexual energy.

The captions must be working for the fairy (or possibly ARE!)

Unstable Potion, met Unstable Prince
da Doctah
The worst place to use any unstable potion is, of course, the stable. Maybe Thane’s horse can be more than just a Jiminy Cricketesque voice of reason.

“unstable” as in “crazy” or “unstable” as in “Whatever you do, don’t fucking drop it or we’ll all die”?
