Adopted son, yes. But he’s also a perv. In his mind, probably figures that if he keeps his eyes on the girl, it’s all okay. 😉
As a side note, not all cultures and societies view nudity and the act of sex as unnatural or perverse. In fact, I would posit that most civilizations, past and present, haven’t had a huge problem with this. Bear in mind civilized humans have been around for 10,000 years. That’s quite a bit more than the 2,000 years (if that) of Church-induced taboos.
It’s not -just- the large monotheistic religions that have thought watching someone else go at it hammer and tongs was a bit outlandish, or that watching your (adopted) kid make the two-backed beast was less than proper…
in old england, mainly the lords and royalties, when a royal couple were married the groom’s mother was to sit in the room and watch to mske sure they had sex at least once that night. and if you think that’s embarrasing, when the lady gave birth, her bedchamber didn’t just have a wetnurse, the groom and a couple other people, it was jam-packed with random assholes that either worked for the family or were too damn nosey, all wanting to watch her give birth to what was hopefully a boy.
and Christianity was already in full swing.
Hmm. I can see a -few- practical advantages to there being someone to witness the first night. With all the political backbiting and double-dealing, it’d pay to have someone there to make sure the bride wasn’t raped or beaten up on her wedding night, as well as ensure that the deed actually took place so the groom could not later claim that the bride was sterile, allowing him an easy divorce…

A high minded thought, but sadly without any historical basis. No one was concerned about the bride, at all. No one. Not her mother, not her father. If she was an unwilling participant in the marriage there was no one who was going to jump in to protect her from a wedding night beating or rape. The only reason for the witnesses was to to provide testimony for the consummation and the legitimacy of the offspring. If the bride resisted they might even help the groom, because that’s where their political fortunes were made.

I take great comfort in knowing that I am more high-minded than the folks who used to rule the world in historical times…
… Just what kind of ‘work’ is the wizard trying to do, here? õ_o I’m surprised that the double-barrelled knight isn’t even the least bit weirded out by the fact that his adopted father is watching while he has sex with the princess… Then again, he -did- seem spectacularly stupid.
Start with a somewhat dim knight, transfer what little blood flow his brain used to get to his twin guns, throw in a magical curse that puts him in rut for a sexy and hot princess, and you have a guy who doesn’t care if it’s the end of the world. 🙂
I think it’s just because of the angle. When you’re lying on your back, and/or bending over backwards, the breasts go with gravity. They’re currently bouncing around near her face, and would look smaller because of this. It’s like when a woman lies on her back and her breasts look smaller because they’ve temporarily relocated to her armpits.
Actually, I think it’s simply because of the placement of her hand. You can see a line indicating the bottom curve of her breast below it. And her face is partially blocking the left breast.

How does this pertain to his job, exactly?

Oh, y’know, dealing with magical mischief and all. Giving sex instructions to unwitting lovers is just a nice perk…

Even if it is, it’s still rattling around with plenty of space left over, or so it seems to me just now.

Is it me or did her boobs shrink by the last panel?

Well, the mirror’s spells were supposed to end soon.
