  1. Well uh oh.

  2. I pity that maid

  3. this will end badly, an it makes me sad 🙁
I want sexy maid to continue, and adult prince has so much potential

  4. All right, looks like the site has been moved as planned, but we’ve lost a bunch of comments on this strip. My attempts at restoring those have caused more damage than good, so with my apologies, this will stay as is. I refuse to mess with powers I do not comprehend. 🙂

But you’re welcome to re-type your comments if you feel like it. 😛

  5. I’ll sum up my lost comments as concisely as I can: those faeries are nasty beasts and in a sane-ish world, this would be the start of horrible, horrible developments.

  6. A question to Jaycee: Do the faeries have natural or unnatural enemies, and if not, would you like some? I could think of a few ideas…

    1. If they DID have enemies, they would have to be immune to magic, have great big flyswatters, or both.

    2. Without giving too direct an answer, this IS something have given some thought to, but I’m always curious as to what people might think… 😉

      1. If we have ideas you’d like to use, will you credit us? :p

        1. The credits will be attached to the check for USD $0.008 that I’ll be sending you. 😛

(I’m basing the value of the check on the fact that ideas are a dime a dozen, so a single one should be 0.8 cent 🙂 )

      2. Here’s what I think, with the help of good old lex parsimoniae:

Observation: Documented faery magic use in the Bloomingverse consists of relatively minor “curses” that affect body shape, mental processes, etc. in a sexual context. Case in point: Sir Thane’s got hit by “one of the most powerful faeries” with “her best curse yet”.

Observation: Beings of power rarely limit themselves to use only a fraction of that power. Cases in point: almost every species and group on the 3rd planet from Sol.

Observation: Faeries are treated by others as pests. Case in point: the phrase “faery infestation”. The emotion in question is annoyance, not fear.

Conclusion: Faries can be dealt with.

(Maybe a tightly rolled up newspaper…)

        1. Nice… Someone has been doing his homeworks. 🙂

  7. Anyone else notice she just gave the mirror rabbit ears?

    1. Yeah, I mentioned that in the comments that vanished…and speculated that the faerie may be considering a “Human for a day” spell for the mirror…

  8. Well thinking about it, a natural enemy of a faerie would have to be something anti-nature, maybe a golem of sorts, that instead of being immune to faerie magic might eat faerie magic, or possibly has an ability to reflect it back at the wielder. This might be a good tie into the wizards we saw. Since Golems or Humunculi often serve wizards.

  9. But… but… the prince looks so content and happy and cute!

  10. As I noted earlier, in the comments that went away, we have Sir Thane there, so the wench can be turned back into the beauty she is now, and that seems to be permenent when done by his “curse”. The rest depends on if the Prince now truly has fallen in love with her, as his face seems to show.

What will they do? What would they be willing to give up or do to be together? Some of his youth to her so that they may grow up together, neither forgetting what has happened this day? Oh, that would be just one big simmering cauldren waiting to boil over, and a “prank” the fairy might enjoy.

Might even have a fairy godmother intervene. As it seems the fairies are all about screwing with people’s love lives, in a negative way, maybe what makes a fairy godmother a fairy godmother is her intent to influenece in a positive way.

However, if you want to go for the laughs, how about a fairy godfather to set it all arights? It will require a heavy Chicago/Italian accent when writing him, of course, but I have faith in your talent to do so.
