No.
Keep it in context please – He has been with the Princess already,.. He enters HIS WORKSPACE and finds her azz up on his workbednch Moaning about placement.
On most parts of this planet,.. a woman coming to where you are and making noises you remember in a more sexual light comes across as an open invitation,…
Sometimes you guys are scary with this one-way thinking,.. like it is always the males job to protect the female from herself and to exibit anything less than precog abilities in the same talent set as telepathy makes him a dog and worse than slime.

Yeah, keeping it completely in context: she accepted his participation when she thought he was a she, when the spell wore off (or was countered) she only kept him because she needed release
In this context, Heather did not volunteerily go into the Archives, she is not willingly in such a state of arousal, and she most certainly did not give him permission to have his way with her
Temi
Urmmm I’m sorry … but they’ve had willing consensual sex before and she’s ass up in his place of work (or maybe she doesn’t know he works there) clearly in a sexual mood. Or am I missing something?
I’m a girl and if someone I’d slept with found me in such a position and didn’t even try I’d be very confused.
I’m not saying she doesn’t have the right to turn him down but it does look an awful lot like an invitation. Conversely if a woman walked into her room to find a previous lover getting himself off and tried to join in no one would say she raped him
Its not rape unless she says no… and I’m fairly certain she’s been saying Yes . Alot …. 😉

There is a bit of meta thinking at work here. We all know what’s going on, but the characters in those situations only have partial information. In this particular instance, I’m pretty sure Princess Heather would not have objected had he tried anything. Heck, she’s already feeling him inside her; it’s not like having him really inside her would have made a difference to her.
Yeah, this wouldn’t be rape. It’s only rape if the girl or guy says no and they keep on going. Granted the Princess isn’t in the right state of mind to say no to the lurker if he decided to have sex with her again but the Lurker didn’t cast the spell on Heather and is unaware that she is under a spell. But if anyone should get blame it would be the fairy that cast the spell.
Maybe he thinks he’s hallucinating after seeing her in the mirror and needs to blow out a few rounds to get her off his mind… four times, no wonder she’s been feeling him this while time if he’s been at it like that the whole time. She was probably collapsed in exhaustion after he finally finished when he just found her now and felt the passion stir again.
Never realised he was a regular joe. I always figured Lurker for another visiting lord who was at the party.
1) He’s not an idiot, but it’s not that obvious that there is a link. All he’s seen so far is Heather in a mirror, and then right now on the archives’ table. I’m sure he’s figured out that there is something wrong with her, but not that he’s responsible for it.
2) Hey, men over 40 still have a healthy libido and sex life. 😉 In addition, when you’re lusting after someone as sexy as Princess Heather, four times
strikes me as the minimum he can do.
> 1) He’s not an idiot, but it’s not that obvious that there is a link.
That’s exactly why I asked. The hints are “obvious” to us (in hindsight), due to the extra knowledge we possess, but it is hard for us to judge how the characters would interpret them.
So, am I right in assuming that he has a suspicion that something unnatural is going on and that both Heather and himself are involved, but has no knowledge yet about the nature and scope of their “involvement”?
> 2) Hey, men over 40 still have a healthy libido and sex life.
I am over 40 and have an active libido and sex life.
Without going into details, twice in a row can feel good, 3 times in a row – not so much, 4 times in a row hurts…
Now, being able and willing to go for fifth… I suspect fairy interference.
Jaycee
1) You’re mostly on target, except that there have not been many indications that he and Heather are “connected.”
2) This may be a case where reality and comedy do not intersect. Or maybe there’s foul (faerie) play at work…

She was RIGHT THERE,.. he should’da just cut out the middle-magic.

And become an actual rapist? O_o
It’s bad enough (for some of us readers) that he is a(n unwitting) mind rapist
Travan
Agreed. From what we know it makes no difference, but he can’t know that. As it stands in-comic they are both victims.

Yup, he was always one of the castle’s staff, I just never got around to mentioning that before.

“one of the castle’s staff” So many jokes!

LOL! I hadn’t even thought of that!

That might explain why Albie gave him the potion (he knows better than to pull a prank on a visiting pervert noble)
Lurker
1) He is still not aware of his connection to Heather?
2) Four times straight for a guy who appears to be in his 40s? Damn…
