I’d feel bad for her as well but then again she does pretty much ask for it with the way she treats people. Hell, one would think that she would at least learn to be nice to the fairies so they don’t have more of a reason to mess with her.
It is why I said sometimes. Though to be fair, I think parents should be to blame a little, I mean she is a princess so she feel it did in title her to a lot of these actions, and her parents let her.

Yes, punish the parents. Until the kid turns 18 the parents are responsible. Right? I mean at what point is a person responsible for their own actions? Cause otherwise the parents aren’t at fault, but the grandparents and how they raised her parents. So forth and so on

Solution: have all your kids before you are 18, and have them do the same. No responsibility whatsoever, for anyone. Problem solved.

I do believe you about a person being responsible for their own actions at a point, but parents are supposed to play a key role in a childs development so that they know write from wrong and how to treat people. Typically in royal backgrounds children had little to no parental control and got whatever they wanted. Princess here is a prime example of the end result of that. So yes it is the parents (or whoever raised them) fault if they don’t do their job right in the childs formative years.
Hmm, my opinion of Lurker as the nicest bloke in the comic has fallen a bit as he thinks of little more than being with her physically rather than romantically. But I’d still hold him above all other blokes in this comic. He doesn’t know this is happening to her.
Well he was quite apologetic a bout the forced fondling of her when it started and wished he could stop himself. The problem with him KNOWING that this is happening is that it then becomes one of those things he has to not think about.
So if he’s thinking that he shouldn’t think about a hand-job then Oop! too late, he just thought about not thinking about it *LOL*
Well to be fair, this is like 30mins or so after he had just had sex with her, so of course he thinking sexual thoughts about her, Heather is a lovely lady and maybe she was good. He discrbing her as sweet and such. She just wishes he have another go after the first.
Up until now, the (BF version of) the Lurker worshiped Heather and only thought of her pleasure. I liked having him as a goofy, starry-eyed, naive idealist — a counterpoint to most other castle dwellers — even if it meant heartbreak and the short end of the stick. He seemed to have a pure heart and a great capacity for good.
Having him suddenly fantasize about using her to satisfy his own sexual needs makes me feel… dirty.
While I believe that he has no idea how his thoughts currently affect Heather, I truly hope that in his next appearance he would be deeply ashamed for them.
A momentary lapse can be forgiven.
Well to be fair to him. It’s just sexual fantasies so him being a bit selfish in what he wants is to be expected. I’d be worried if he didn’t have a selfish sexual fantasy where he does what he wants or the girl does what he wants.
THAT makes you feel dirty? Of all the things that have happened in this comic? This hasn’t really been a tale of ladies, gentlemen, and acceptable behavior. There’s been near-incest and all manner of involuntary fornication… I am surprised at the bar being that high!

> THAT makes you feel dirty? Of all the things that have happened in this comic?
None of the other characters in the comic was based on input from yours truly (hint: the nickname similarity is not a coincidence).
Even though JC and $1 took considerable “artistic freedom” in depicting the character compared to my original suggestions, I still feel quite attached to him and tend to identify with him while reading the comic. I try to set my own personality aside, get into the character’s mindset, imagine having the same goals and motivations, think his thoughts, anticipate his responses and actions… I guess my D&D past is showing 🙂
When the Lurker character acts, behaves or even thinks in ways contrary to his previously established morals and ethics, there is some internal conflict. So yes, this did make me feel a bit dirty while the rest of the comic didn’t — purely due to the intellectual and emotional involvement.
I hoped that the Lurker character would be able to resist the corrupting influence of the royal court.

Oh, I see! I can imagine that would be unsettling. Oh dear, though… I can only imagine further depravity in the character’s future…

I really don’t see him fantasizing about Heather and what he would want to do to her as being contrary to his previously established morals and ethics. Now if the next time he sleeps with her, he does what he wants without caring what she wants, then I’ll agree that he is being out of character.
I don’t feel bad for her at all, they aren’t doing anything that really messes up her life publically, it’s all private torture and it’s all pleasureable stuff
On Topic: Generally after hot and heavy sex with a woman I care about,.. I want more. It’s called being a healthy normal male, (can’t speak for women). Heather could do worse than a man who wants her in all ways yet acts as though he doesn’t deserve her.
As male characters on this,.. he is the most “normal” after him is Albert,… Which reminds me,…
Well,.. yes.
Albert was the “picked on lil brother” who wants to get back at his sister in ways he has learned would bug her. His “sexual appitite” is difuse as a child, he understands the mechanics but doesn’t connect the act with the need,
(look at how he reacted to seeing the lurker aroused by his sister,.. and how he did drawings about the maid after the fact,.. )
If we could just get him away from the fairies, the wizard, his sister,.. and all the other bent folk in the castle.

Yeah, I think I agree with you – he doesn’t know; one would wonder if he knew, would he stop…or would he just sit back and watch the show?

Sadly, I am inclined to agree.

starting to feel bad for her >.<

You’re not alone in that. It looks as if she’s being turned into one of those sex-dolls. >_<

Hmph,..
Sooner or later she HAS to get a clue.

Albert is normal? I dunno, he seems to have an adult male’s sexual appetite but is a kid. I fear to see what he is like as a teenager.
