Really? The Princess is a bitch pure and simple. The fact that she hasn’t learned anything shows how much of a bitch she is. Why do you think she is a favorite target of the Brown-Haired Fairy.
If anything, I say the Princess doesn’t deserve to be with a guy like the Stalker.
And how is the stalker whiney? If anything he seems quite spineless letting people bully him around but a little creepy with his stalking.

Really you’d think that she’d have learned by now. To look right in the face of a faerie and say that without any thoughts of the consequences. Considering that she’s selfish you’d think she’d think about what could happen to her for it all.
But then again this wouldn’t be as entertaining if she did.
I think what the faerie is giving her, is mind reading powers, which mean she will know what people are thinking. or at least thinking about her, might make for some interesting moments.
Well it could still be bad. If she such a jerk / brat / bitch / whatever, people will have fake smiles, and she will hear exactly how people see her. It adds to a bit of a wake up call, though Heather will just freak out I bet.
The fairies in general aren’t evil, just chaotic when it comes to sex. So some of what they do can turn out to be a good thing like in the case of Marie getting to look sexy again.

Whilst I appreciate you may be a starving artist, I’m a starving unemployed engineer and thus can’t afford to pay you. I’d like to think that you like people who appreciate your art for it’s own sake, even if they are too poor to help support you. If this is the case please provide us with an rss feed to the free comic only, if I keep getting links to content I have to pay for I’ll most likely get the hump and stop reading your stuff altogether.
Another acceptable alternative would be to clearly mark the pay for links with $ in the rss.
To set the record straight, I’m not a starving artist, I’m a writer, so what you see isn’t “my art” per se. I retain the (excellent) services of an amazing artist (Wondollar) who illustrates this strip twice a week for me. And that’s not the only cost; there is advertisement, members-only content, hosting fees, etc. This represents costs that, unfortunately, I can’t pay entirely out of pocket (though I mostly have, for the last 3 years). A large chunk of the revenues that keep this site up come from the members, who generously contribute a monthly fee and thus help lighten the burden for me.
I regret that the RSS feeds you members-only articles that you can’t read. If there was a simple way for me to remove them from the RSS (something I’m not very familiar with, having never been much of a RSS user myself), I’d gladly do so. I do like your suggestion to “mark” the posts so they’re recognizable and have already done so. Posts marked “[$]” are pay-to-read. Hopefully that will make your life better.
Sorry if I sounded a bit off in my post, I wasn’t having a good day.
I appreciate that running things on the internet does cost money and you are perfectly entitled to charge for some (or even all) of your work. I’m very glad my suggestion was helpful and hopefully one day soon I’ll find gainful employment and then be able to enjoy all your work and reimburse you for some of costs.

No worries. Being unemployed is pretty stressful and I can understand how being constantly reminded of that could become an irritant after a while. (“Oh, there’s this GREAT stuff past the link, but hey, you can’t read it, you got no money — sucks to be you.”)
And for what it’s worth, if I could just break even on the monthly costs, I’d start reducing the ads (or increasing the frequency of the strip, as I just did in January). I just want the strip to be out there, successful, and broadly read. Anything past that (mundane things like -profit-) is just gravy.
And thanks for the kind words about my writing–you just made my day. 🙂
Maybe a suitable punishment for her would be to swap bodies with the Lurker for awhile, with his feelings for her still inside, and see how it feels? Meanwhile, maybe the Lurker, inside the Princess’ gorgeous form, can get a little bit of backbone…or some other kind of bone, knowing THIS comic! :giggle:
This is odd… I don’t know why you’re not seeing the updates, many people (most?) seem able to. I’ve tried something, maybe that’ll make a difference… Try again & let me know?
