Yeah, I’m pretty sure it is. Remember she did look like that in the previous strips we saw her in and she already slept with Than and was pretty much boinking her husband nonstop after that.
I’m sure he’d love to have the power to keep his nethers under control. But he doesn’t. :-\ And his brain was never exactly a high-performing machine, more’s the pity…
Awww, poor Gus, being used to haul a wagon of food, and Thane
Blonde henchman isn’t much smarter than Ernest(ina), is he? Of course Thane is still around, who does he think is tied up in the back of the wagon? (maybe that line needs to be worked on)
Or maybe, they just thought it was the Innkeepers horse
Gallstone
Nope, they know exactly what Gus looks like. They tracked Thane in part through recognizing Gus when they saw him in the inn’s stable.
Guesticus
Thought they used the pendant to track him down
Gallstone
As far as I know, all the pendant does is store magic until its capacity has been reached, and then it dumps its contents on everyone unfortunate or stupid enough to stick around when it starts to glow.
CeriCat
More likely they followed the trail of humping villagers in a circle back to the inn where they recognised Gus (referenced in strip, plus the hat is a distinguishing characteristic) and the effect was plainly in full swing hence poor thug getting bitten when he finally succumbed to his boss (again referenced in strip via “we know”).
I am in agreeance with Lurker here. I was really enjoying this comic when it was updated two to three times a week. Jaycee, I understand you have a life and probably another job but you used to manage at least two of your high quality strips a week. Could you please return to that schedule?
Wish that I could. The decision wasn’t a productivity issue, but a financial one. At 2 strips a week, the comic was in the red at the end of every month, which meant the difference came out of my pocket.
If it ever makes sense to go x2/week again (and assuming Wondollar still has the bandwidth to deliver that many strips a week), we’ll return to that schedule.

Jaycee
I don’t remember when I last explained it, but it was probably several months ago. Still, not everyone may have read it, so it bears mentioning again. I love doing this comic and I’d gladly do it 8 days a week if I could.

I’ve seen on other web comic sites that they have a donate button. A lot of fans will donate to the other sites so that the author and artist can put out more content. I’ve also seen a few authors post that due to donations they no longer have to work another job because of the volume of consistent donations. I don’t think any of us, this sites fans, would be offended if you asked. I think many would pay for membership and donate.
Jaycee
I’m not a big fan of donate buttons. I feel it should always be a transaction (a win-win situation), not charity. If people really want to help (and there are many who do so quite generously), there are plenty of options already: buy something from the store, become a member, buy an ads-free experience, etc. I don’t feel quite right asking for and accepting charity. Also, to return to a bi-weekly schedule would require a very significant (and ongoing) investment. It’s just not plausible to believe that readers will contribute this much money for nothing when they’re not doing it in exchange for a product.
P.S.: I did have a donate button for about a year, a long time ago. I think I earned around $10 through it.

Have you considered Patreon? It’s not a donation or charity, it’s fans actually paying you to work
Jaycee
Yup, and it’s not bringing anything to the table that’s not already there (members area, store, etc.). As I said, the fans who want to support the site already do so.
Oh yeah, and: boobs.

A possible alternative is to merge the plotlines an make the story more sequential.
Jahavad – yeah I noticed that too.
The idiot is captured by a woman who all we know didn’t like going out of control, the loyal servant of the woman who captured him has been maimed by her for letting her wrap her lips around him, The Wizard is now a Hermaphrodite, (SP?), A palace servant with the hots for the princess is now a woman, The young prince is a child remembering and feening for an adult woman, The knight Errant is now a woman who does women, the gate guard who got jumped by a magiced female guard has verbal erectile disfunction, …….
Maybe all the men should pickup and go visit relatives in another Country?
Hey, Jaycee?
I’m going to ask some uncomfortable questions.
Is Gus, well, ‘popular’ with the mares since his transformation? Or does he find the idea of copulating with real horses unpalatable? Is he beholden to a mating season, like a real horse?
Considering the other Mares aren’t intelligent, I’m guessing they’d have to feel an attraction to him when they’re in season and even then it wouldn’t exactly be exiting or anything since all he can do with an unintelligent but willing horse is mount it and hump ’till he pump.
Its hard to tell if he would or wouldn’t. He obviously got the transformation because he wanted a huge penis and felt it would get more women interested in him but I doubt thats happening and I don’t pick him for taking on horses.
…Actually, with Thane around, the women might just be horney enough… nah, we already saw that effect with Patience and she needed Lucky to get her off because she was straight.
Hey, Jaycee, if not multiple strips, how about a single larger one that might keep us more up-to-date on what’s happening? I’ve tried to get a few people to read this comic, but they say that it’s too confusing to keep up with all the multiple threads that are happening. Just a suggestion…
Think someone called the ‘did she just bite him’ way back when the ‘influence’ went away while she was … well, seems she did… though not fatally. Still think she looks mighty fine in those skin tight leathers. Now if only she didn’t answer ever other question with a knife to the kidneys as a sign of ‘romance’.
Well, I mean, she may very well not know that the horse can talk/has the brains of the human he once was. So, just using the guys horse, especially considering she’s a thief anyway, doesn’t seem like such a bad idea if you believe it to be a normal horse. So I don’t think it really says anything about her intelligence. And if you think that he has a hat should be a clue that he’s not normal, I’m pretty sure there are people who put hats on their horses so that probably wouldn’t seem too unusual either.

If she had, it’s unlikely he’d be sitting and talking.

That’s how he knows Thane is still around, and why he comments on the medallion not being a permanent solution.
Gallstone
Lucky one for Thane, though. Gus is currently his only – and smartest and wisest – friend. Right now, he is at least on hand to help, when he can.

Should be interesting to see how Gus helps. Seems like they might not know Gus is intelligent and can talk, just that it’s Thane’s horse.

May I reiterate that running three parallel plot-lines does not work well with a once-per-week update schedule?
